About Us

History

Cape Galvanising Consolidated started life in 1958 as Parow General Galvanising.  The company has since grown into one of South Africa’s largest galvanising plants and currently has the largest zinc tank in the Western Cape. The company has been associated with major galvanising projects, particularly in the Western Cape, with a client list that includes Eskom, South Africa’s electricity supplier.  Cape Galvanising Consolidated has successfully undertaken the galvanising of electrical transmission lines, structural steel for bridges and buildings as well as burglar bars, boat trailers and smaller items that need hot-dip galvanisation for corrosion protection.
